Car Flip Academy UK

A community on Skool, run by Kieran at Kiers Garage, for people in the UK learning to buy, fix and sell used cars. It's free to join. The paid plans add the full course and personal checks on the cars you're looking at.

Joining, billing and cancelling are all handled by Skool.

What it is

Car Flip Academy UK is a community on Skool. Inside there's a course that follows real flips from the first look at a listing to handing over the keys, tools that check a car and work out the most to bid, and a live deal review every Thursday. It's all about doing it in the UK: IAA UK and Copart auctions, Facebook Marketplace, write-off categories, MOT history and the rules for selling cars here.

  • Free to joinThe Standard plan: the community, the free tools, the Thursday live and the first modules
  • Thursday, 7pmLive deal review, UK time, on Skool and YouTube
  • About £1,000The budget the first flip is planned around, sometimes less
  • UK onlyUK auctions, paperwork and law

Who it's for

It's for you if

  • You're in the UK and want to flip your first car, or your second.
  • You've got about £1,000 for the first car, sometimes less.
  • You're hands-on, or happy to learn the checks and the simple jobs.
  • You want to do it properly: register with HMRC once you're trading, insure properly and tell buyers everything in writing.

It's not for you if

  • You want a guaranteed income or a number per month. Some flips lose money, and the course shows those too.
  • You want to hide a Cat N marker or sell a known fault to a stranger.
  • You want to start on Cat S, structural repairs or airbag work.
  • You're outside the UK. The auctions, paperwork and law here are UK only.

What's free and what's paid

There are three plans. You start on Standard, which is free, and can move up inside Skool whenever you like.

Standard

Free
  • The community: ask questions, post cars and see how other members price them.
  • The free tools: the IAA and Marketplace pre-checks and the max bid calculator.
  • The Thursday 7pm live deal review.
  • Start Here, and modules 1 and 2 of the course.

Premium

$39 a month
  • Everything in Standard.
  • The full course: modules 3 to 15, added as they're filmed.

VIP

$150 a month
  • Everything in Premium.
  • The Deal Desk: send up to 4 cars a month and get a verdict within 24 hours, with the checks, likely repair costs, a max bid and a straight answer: buy it, bid up to a set figure, or walk away.
  • A 1:1 call with Kieran every month.

Prices are in US dollars because Skool charges in dollars. Your bank converts the payment, so the amount in pounds moves with the exchange rate, and some banks add a fee for paying in another currency. A Deal Desk verdict is Kieran's read of the listing, the photos and the free checks. It isn't an inspection or a guarantee.

The course

Fifteen modules in three parts, in the order you'd do a flip. Start Here and modules 1 and 2 are free. The rest come with Premium and VIP, and they're added as they're filmed, mostly on real cars as they go through each stage.

The Thursday live deal review

Every Thursday at 7pm UK time, live on Skool and YouTube. Members bring listings from IAA, Copart or Facebook Marketplace, and Kieran goes through them on the call: the MOT history, the likely repairs, what the car will sell for and the most he'd pay. It's open to every member, free plan included.
